Coasters will protect your furniture from spots but also can add a touch of decor to your short term rental. If you have coasters on surfaces where guests might put down a glass or mug, it will encourage them to use them. When I picked coasters out I kept an eye out for some with local spots on them which kept with the themes of our decor. I made sure to have them on side tables in the bedrooms, living room and the coffee table with the glass top. Having a few touches of household items that are practical but decorative will be noticed by your guests and you'll be thankful for as well.
